Customer Sales Promotion

Customers can take quite a while to change their buying habits. One way that we can encourage and modify these habits is through our sales and marketing activities. One activity with a very fast pay-back is selling more products to our existing customers. If you have a customer who is buying one type of product from you, include as a gift or as an incentive or introduce additional items in your product range. For instance, if you have a customer who purchases coffee products from you, then they are an obvious site for also buying tea bags, disposable cups, ceramic cups etc.

Instead of giving them a cash discount off that purchase, include an additional item explaining what its value is, which is an item they normally wouldn’t buy from you, and it gives you an opportunity of increasing your sales to them. For instance if you have a customer who already buys coffee products from you, include a set of ceramic cups so that they can see the quality of the cups that we also provide without undermining your own revenue base of coffee supply.
